He is survived by: his wife Shirley Kness; his children, Robin Sondgeroth (Ken), Ronda Imel (Barry) and Ray Woessner (Melissa); his siblings, Neal Woessner (Janice) and Marge Woodall (Tom); his sister-in-law Mina Alber; and his grandchildren, Allison Marzinzik (Nick), Bryce Palmer, Chelsey Fitzgerald (Adam), Courtney Alexander (Todd) and David Woessner (Joanna). He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given in his memory to Trinity Lutheran Church and the Milledgeville Fire Department.
