He was predeceased by: his daughter Julie Hampton; his son-in-law Gary Reese; and his sisters, Phyllis Halfman and Carol Bielema. He is survived by: his parents, Frederick Miller and Cleone Miller (Wade); his wife Barbara of Milledgeville; his children, Roxanne Francis (Bruce) of Milledgeville, Kathie Reese of Lanark, Kirsten Fletcher of Hilton Head, Gregory Miller (Vicki) of Milledgeville, Kim Miller (Patty) of Milledgeville, Wayne Goellner (Anne) of Milledgeville, Kevin Miller (Debra) of Lanark and Kelly Miller (Shanda) of Dixon; and his siblings, Iris Eye of Clinton, Janice Brunner of Thomson and Richard Miller (Karen) of Thomson. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
