She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Wetzell and Ruth Wetzell (Flemming); her siblings, Margaret Stevenson and Tom Wetzell; her son Gregory Newton; and her son-in-law Ernie Smalley.
She is survived by: her spouse Jack Newton; and her children, Michael (Alberta) of Milledgeville, Douglas (Diane) of Peoria, Suzanne Rogers (David) of Willmar, MN, Leslie Smalley, William (Ann) of Indianapolis, IN, Joel (Diane) of Dilworth, MN and Ruth Bachorik (Doug) of Metro Manila, Philippines. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 64 great-grandchildren.
