With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frank Curtis Rutledge of Milford, Illinois, born in Hoopeston, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 9, 2024 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Rutledge and Elvira Rutledge (Love); his in-laws, Francis and Hazel Huebner; his siblings, Esther, Alice, Leah and Ernest "Ed"; and his brothers-in-law, Leonard and Roy.
He is survived by: his children, Christina Quaintance (Steve) of New London, WI, Melissa Johnson (Jeff) of Hoopeston, IL, Rebecca Hansen (Earl) of Milford, IL, Ron Rutledge (Jodi) of New London, WI and Jim Swanson (Laura) of New York; his brother Gilbert Rutledge (Marilyn) of Milford, IL; and his grandchildren, Natasha Quaintance, Joshua, Jacob Johnson, Conor, Emma, Aly Hansen, Alex and Dean Swanson. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (427 E Main St, Hoopeston, IL 60942). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Frank to the Hoopeston American Legion Post #384 Color Guard, 502 E. Penn St., Hoopeston, IL 60942.
