He was predeceased by: his father Harold Runge. He is survived by: his mother Mary Ann Runge (Dohler); and his siblings, Mark Runge (Kathy Polito), Mike Runge, Rich Runge (Heidi), Sue Runge of Sherrard and Teresa Doak (Jason) of Sherrard. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews and 13 great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #25 Hall (4600 46th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201).
