He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Margaret Koloseus; his wife Norma L. Sparks; his children, Kenneth Tollenaer Jr. (Karen), Sheryl Tollenaer, Stephen Tollenaer (Colleen) and Julia Evans (Jeff); his grandchildren, Rebecca Wilburn, Elizabeth Otten, Amy McEvoy, Sarah Bower, Matthew Tollenaer, Jennifer Harland, Courtney Brickner and Michael Evans; his sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Vyncke and Karen Gagnon; and his close friend Ellen Tighe. He was also cherished by 16 great-grandchildren.
