The memory of Kathleen Wheeler of Milan, Illinois, who passed away on March 2, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Gleason and Nellie Gleason (Cudaback); her husbands, John Charles and Jerry; and her siblings, Beverly Berg, Helen Petersen, Burdette Gleason and Stanley Gleason.
She is survived by: her children, Jay Charles and Teresa Newell (Jamie); her grandchildren, Miley Charles, Julia Kudrna (Landon) and Erik Newell; and her great grandchild Jaxton Kudrna.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home (201 4th Ave E, Milan, IL 61264). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church in Milan or the Alzheimer's Association.
