Karen Budde Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen Budde of Milan, Illinois, born in Rock Island, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 27, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Stimpson and Ruth Marie Stimpson (Lange); and her brother Gary Stimpson. She is survived by: her husband Daniel Budde; her daughters, Bridget Wells (Ted) and Rachel Budde-Wilkins (Matt); her grandchildren, Tanner, Spencer, Hunter, Sidney, Jamey, Ashlan, Madeline and Ethan; her great grandchild Alastair; her siblings, Dennis Stimpson (Linda), Terry Stimpson, Mary Knox and Patty Wilson (Phil); and her sister-in-law Ann R. "Ricki" Stimpson (Miller). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A rosary was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 3:30 PM at the St. Damien Center. Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Damien Center of the Church. A Mass was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church - Moline (1307 17th Ave, Moline, IL 61264). The family requests if you are attending to please wear a mask if you are feeling unwell to protect immunocompromised members.

Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline or to Alleman High School, Rock Island.
