He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Sales and Pearl Sales (Matherly); his wives, Mary McDaniel and Helen Anderson (Johnson); his daughter Marilyn Kristenson; his son-in-law Jim Cruchelow; his grandson Timmy Cruchelow (Stephanie); and his siblings, Charles Sales, Pauline Wignell, Claude Sales, Donald Sales and Ronnie Sales.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Cruchelow, Tom Sales (Kathy), Wayne Sales, Paul Sales (Kerri), Barbara Dean (Ron), Dale Sales, Jeannie Bailey (Lenn), Bobby Sales and Mary Fischer (James); his son-in-law Brad Kristenson; and his brothers, Bill Sales, Larry Sales (Donna) and Jimmy Sales. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home (201 4th Ave E, Milan, IL 61264). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Milan American Legion or Praise Fellowship Church in Bettendorf.
