As we bid Forrest farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Forrest is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest L. Sr. Miller and Marian L. Miller (McClean); his wife Lavon K. Ferkel; his brother Jack Miller; and his pets, Bandit and Kaylee.
He is survived by: his sister Jill Mueller (Fritz). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home & Crematory (201 4th Ave E, Milan, IL 61264). A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory (201 4th Ave E, Milan, IL 61264).
Memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center in Bud's memory.
