He was predeceased by: his wife Jennie; his daughter Julie Oster; his grandson Richard Whitlock; his sister Patricia; and his parents, Genevieve Anderson and Edwin Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Oster, Sandra Truschke and Douglas Oster; and his brothers, James, Edwin and Donald.
