He was predeceased by: his son Sgt. Christopher Abeyta. He is survived by: his mother Elvira Vezina (Jim); his siblings, Margo Canales (Renee) and Lonny Abeyta; and also Barbara Abeyta. He is also survived by many uncles and many nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
