He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Ryan; and his sons, Sean Heffernan and Michael W. Ryan Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Rhonda Jackson (Kevin), Ranita Sinish (Lawrence) and Sara Ryan; his grandchildren, Valarie Byland (TJ), Kyle Sinish, Colin Sinish, Elizabeth Jackson, Mark Jones, Jayden Jones and Arianna Taylor; and his sister Gail DeGrado.
