He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clara Porter and Thomas Ostrander; his wife Penelope Ostrander; his children, Donna Middleton (Loren), Brian Ostrander (Amanda) and Leonard Paterson (Ellen Schoenwetter); his grandchildren, Kelsey Middleton (Ryan Imondi), Tyler Middleton, Zoe Middleton, Jordan Ostrander and Jillian Ostrander; his great grandchild Penelope June Imondi; and his sister Sheila Ojendyk. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sandburg High School Tennis.
