He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Schmitt and Jessie Schmitt; and his brother Thomas Schmitt (Brenda). He is survived by: his daughters, Sarah Miller (James), Jessica Vahl (Brian) and Kaitlin Schmitt (Dave Jarosik); his granddaughter Emma Vahl; his half-sisters, Charmaine and Tiffany; and his grandchildren, Bear, Fred and Hey You. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, brothers- and sisters-in-law, his beloved cousins.
