He was predeceased by: his father Donald Lee; his former wife Stephanie; his stepson Timothy Mock; and his great-niece Hailey Jo Dunbar. He is survived by: his mother Sandra Dale of St. Joseph, Missouri; his son Erick Ross Dale of Shorewood, Illinois; his wife Kathleen Herbert; his brothers, Milfred "Bud" Dale of Topeka and David Dale of St. Joseph, Missouri; his siblings-in-law, Ronald Herbert Jr. (Penny), Randy Green, Rick Green, Robert Green (Jenni), Leanne Rodonis (late John) and Lorrie Puttkammer (Matthew); and also Janette Ralston of St. Charles, Missouri.. He is also survived by three nieces, three nephews, three great-nieces, and three great-nephews.
