It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claudia Laboy (Midlothian, Illinois), who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Claudia departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Claudia may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Claudia leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Domingo Laboy; her sons, Dominic Laboy and Nathaniel Laboy (Rachel); her grandchildren, Robert, Magdalena and Aryya; and her siblings, Sue Formanek and Anthony Pruszewski.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hickey Memorial Chapels - Midlothian (4201 147th St, Midlothian, IL 60445). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 9:20 AM at the Hickey Memorial Chapel (4201 147th St, Midlothian, IL 60445). A prayer will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Hickey Memorial Chapels - Midlothian (4201 147th St, Midlothian, IL 60445). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Christopher Church - St Augustine (4130 147th St, Midlothian, IL 60445). A burial will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (7201 S Archer Ave, Bedford Park, IL 60501).
