He was predeceased by: his wife Rosalie; his son Andrew Wielkopolan; his parents, Frank Wielkopolan and Bertha Wielkopolan; his sister Florence Pietrus (late Raymond); and his niece Susan Pietrus.

He is survived by: his children, Tammy Wegrzyn (Jim), Anthony Wielkopolan, Rebekah Jenny Israel (Obadiah) and Sarah Kathy Toulouse Ventola (late Giorgio); his grandchildren, Amber, Ian, James and Britnee; his great grandchild Noah; and his niece Nancy Barr (Peter).
