Wanda Johns Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Johns of Metropolis, Illinois, who passed away on March 14, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hal Turner and Pearl Turner (Oliver); her husband Elmer Johns; and her siblings, Mildred Hamby, Todd, Lewis Earl, John and Hal Turner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Woods (Steve) of Paducah and Beth Shelton (Galen) of Metropolis; her grandchildren, Dr. Dustin Woods of Paducah, Natalie Brenningmeyer (Jake) of Paducah, Emily Forthman of Metropolis and Cody Shelton (Katie) of Metropolis; her great grandchildren, Jordan Forthman, Jack Brenningmeyer and Jenna Brenningmeyer; and her sister Martha Sims of Benton, KY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
