Virgil Thomas Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virgil Thomas of Metropolis, Illinois, who passed away on December 30, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William G. Thomas and Magnolia Thomas (Dassing); his wife Lacy Carlene Phillips Thomas; his children, Charlene Thomas and Danny Thomas; and his siblings, Hazel Thomas, Beatrice Thomas, Evelyn Graves, Helen Meyers, Carolyn Lovell and William Thomas.
He is survived by: his son Darrell Thomas (Hazel); his grandsons, Michael Thomas (Belinda), Bryan Thomas (Faye) and Danny Thomas; and his sister Clara Botarf. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
