She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Skinner and Anna Reineking Wilkins; her former husband Virgil "Fritz" Mescher; her husband Delmer Reynolds; her daughter Vonda Russell; her stepfather Lester Wilkins; her brother Lindell Skinner; her great grandchild Loueca Jill Lange; and her uncle Paul Bill Reineking.
She is survived by: her daughter Veda O'Hearn (Mickey); her son-in-law Steve Russell; her grandchildren, Rodney, Jackie Lange, Jeremy, Lori Lange and Matthew Russell; her great grandchildren, Ryan and Kaylee Lange; and her sister-in-law Sharon Skinner. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made in Vera's name to First United Methodist Church, 100 East 5th Street, Metropolis, Illinois 62960.
