She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Lowry and Tamar Lowry (Oxford); her husband Lowell G. Ashford; her daughters, Karla Kay Sawyers and Kathy L. Steele; her grandson Jeremy Newberry; and her siblings, Monell Fisher, Mildred Naomi Reed, Melva Evangeline Jarvis, Curtis Leo Lowry, Lowell Ray Lowry, Owen Lowry and Galen Dempsey Lowry.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Michael Englehart, Monty Englehart, Misty York (Doug), Amanda Steele and Keri Johnson (Quintin "Matt"); and her son-in-law John D. Steele. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
