He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben McCarver and Reba Johnston McCarver; and his wife Linda Lou Ziegenbein McCarver. He is survived by: his children, Teresa Elliott (Jack), Lerenda Travis (Dwight) and Thomas L. McCarver, Jr. (Karen); his grandchildren, Stephanie Bevis (Jacob), Emily Hargrove (Jace), Brittany Blackburn (Brandon), Austin Travis (Lesley), McKenzie McCarver and Mollie McCarver; his great grandchildren, Blake Helton, Madison Helton (Kelton Richardson), Bentley Blackburn, Roczen Blackburn, Elias Hargrove and Waylon Travis; his stepgrandchildren, Josh Ables and Brittany Ables; his sister Margaret Hastings; his nieces, Heather Shreves and Crystal Hastings; his close friend Josie Bennett; and also, Michael Gibson and Tonya Gibson.
