It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teresa Lee Johnson of Metropolis, Illinois, who passed away on September 22, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Spillman and Bonnie Spillman (O'Neil); her husband Steve Johnson; her granddaughter Katie Forney; and her brothers, John Spillman and Gary Spillman.
She is survived by: her children, Heather Long (Phil), LeeAnn LaBelle, Judy Zaragossa (Ron), James Sumnlers Jr. (Rhonda), John Sumnlers (Jennifer) and Elizabeth Brown (Jerid); her grandchildren, Andrea, Chance, Brittnie, Logan (Alexis), Hannah (Bryan), Emily, Lydia and Ashlynn; and her siblings, Linda Riley, Barbara Davis, Vivian Mason, Patty Henderson, Ylonda Erwin and Curtis Spillman. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
