He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Yates and Juanita Yates; and his siblings, Faye Piland, Carol Diercks and Garold Yates.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Yates of Metropolis; his daughters, Laura Montgomery (Danny) of Benton, Tina Blaine (Brian) of Gilbertsville and Renee Hines (Greg) of Paducah; his siblings, Donna Beavers (Gary), Louis Yates (Bert), Dale Yates (Stacey), Peggy Holder (Ted), Sandy Moats (Ron) and Rocky Yates (Debbie); his grandchildren, Brandon Hines (Mikayla), Austin Hines (Jacie), Dalton Yates (Nicki), Kennedy Wolfe (Jake), Courtney Hines and Maci Fisher; and his great grandchildren, Maverik, Emmitt, Shelby and Owen.
