He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard James Mansfield, Sr. and Kathryn Bishop Mansfield; and his siblings, Richard James Mansfield, Jr., Charles W. Mansfield, Lauretta Rudd and Sharon Mansfield.
He is survived by: his wife Deena Mansfield of Metropolis, IL; his children, Deva Mansfield of Metropolis and Seitu Martin of Long Beach; his sisters, Hallie Bowden and Margaret Kirksey; and also Brown of Metropolis. He is also survived by two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
