It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald L Hostmeyer of Metropolis, Illinois, who passed away on August 4, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Edward and Julia Ann Hostmeyer (Kuczka); and his wife Della Hostmeyer (Watkins). He is survived by: his children, Randy Hostmeyer, Julie Hamilton (Jay), Heidi Hostmeyer and Kelly Jacobs (Mike); his grandchildren, McKenzie Hardin, Dylan Hamilton (Allie), Hilary McClellan (Mitch) and Drew Jacobs; his great grandchildren, Penelope, Aleah, Raegan and Noah; and his siblings, Alfred Hostmeyer (Theresa), Marlyn Grapperhaus and Ruthie Kampwerth (Jerome). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
