He was predeceased by: his father J. L. Wrye; his brother Ralph Wrye; and his granddaughter Ansley Brooke Myers. He is survived by: his mother Dora Wrye; his wife Mary Wrye; his sons, Ralph Myers (Bobbi) and Gabriel Wrye; his grandchildren, Logan Joiner (Haylee), Gavin Myers and Bailey Myers; his great grandchildren, Dempsey Joiner and Callum Joiner; and his siblings, James Wrye, Samuel Wrye, Nancy Wrye and Linda Jacobs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Loftus-McManus Funeral Homes Inc. (70 Jon St, Metropolis, IL 62960). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
