He is survived by: his wife Doris Howell (Mahan); his sons, David Howell (Patricia), Steven Howell and Randell Howell; his grandchildren, Kristy Vickers, Adam Doughty and Randell Howell Jr; and his sister Kay Bowman (Raymond). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
