Robert E. Heisner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2022, Robert E. Heisner of Metropolis, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Heisner and Anna Heisner; and his siblings, Russell, Raymond Heisner, Vera Brown, Ella Badgley and Helen Hubbard.
He is survived by: his sons, Dr. Monty Heisner (Karen), Dr. Terry Heisner (Karen) and Robert D. Heisner (Bonnie); his grandchildren, Joshua Heisner (Andrea), Heather Heisner (James Funderburk) and Brittney Heisner; his stepgrandchildren, Michele Clark (Eric) and Ricky Dupree (Brittney); his great grandchildren, Owen and Kellen Heisner; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Nathan, Gavin Clark, Carly, Beck, Ava Funderburk, Ben, Jamie and Matthew Dupree; and his brother Carl Heisner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Grand Chain Library or the Grand Chain Cemetery Association.
