With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Coffel Jr. of Metropolis, Illinois, who passed away on January 13, 2021 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Robert E Coffel Sr.; his stepparents, Norma Coffel and Houston Landon Shaw; his grandparents, Burl, Evelyn Coffel, Ezra and Ora Dickey; his sisters, Robin Steinel (Coffel) and Karen Coffel; his aunts and uncles, Jim Coffel, Charlie Coffel, Ted Dickey, Jim Dickey, Edith Rameley and Betty Stitt; and his parents-in-law, Donald and Deloris White.
He is survived by: his mother Wanda Elaine Shaw (Dickey) of Kittaning, PA.; his former wife Patricia Lynn Coffel (White); his sons, Robert E. Coffel III of Helendale, CA and Dustin E. Coffel of Metropolis, IL.; his grandchildren, Madeline, Landon Coffel of Metropolis, Taylor and Judge Coffel of Helendale; his wife Along; his brothers, Ron D and Shawn Coffel St; his sisters-in-law, Donna Etherton Shenandoah and Terri Glancy (Tim); his aunt Doris Kane; and his uncle Mike Dickey (Linda). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great niece and great nephews; many cousins and beloved friends.
