Richard Stewart Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Stewart of Metropolis, Illinois, who passed away on February 19, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl "Doc" Stewart and Juanita Stewart; and his daughter Shelly Stewart. He is survived by: his son Carl Stewart (Dacia); his grandchildren, Gracie Stewart, Clara Stewart, Hailey Jacobs (Matt) and Kennedy Powers; his great grandchildren, Harper, Sawyer and Palmer Jacobs; his brother Jim Stewart (Brenda); and his close friend Bonnie Lillie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
