She was predeceased by: her father Clennie Scurlock; her aunts, Elsie and Bobbie Emerson; her uncle Odell Emerson; her sister Connie Henson; and her great grandchild Joe Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Jay Swenney (Amanda) of Cunningham, KY and Bobbie Tibbs (Rann) of Cresco, PA; her grandchildren, Destiney Smith, Taylor Tubbs (Tyler), Sydney Tibbs, Xavier King, Shadie Tibbs and Hannah Zoeller; and her siblings, Regina Gurley, Jerry Sue Reynolds, Mary Jacobs and Terry Emerson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
