It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nathaniel Bray of Metropolis, Illinois, who passed away on September 30, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Bray and Ella Bray; his nephew Eric Bray; and his siblings, Juanita Reid, Mary Lyons and Herman Reid.

He is survived by: his wife Sherry Bray; his daughters, Cassandra Jackson (Norman) and Heather Bowman (Chris); his grandchildren, Jazlyn Jackson, Gunner Bowman and Harley Bowman; his siblings, Linda Hicks (Junior), Quintella Love and Evelyn Bray; his niece Felicia Johnson (Lowell); and his nephew Jerome Bray. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews.

It is requested that you please wear a face covering while in the church to adhere to current state COVID-19 guidelines.

Memorial contributions may be given in Butch's name to First Missionary Baptist Church, 408 West 7th Street, Metropolis, IL, 62960.
