It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Thoms of Metropolis, Illinois, born in Red Bud, Illinois, who passed away on September 10, 2022, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Frank Thoms; her grandparents, Andy, Annie Thoms, Marie Rabe Egbert and Harold Rabe; her cousin Janel Rabe (Tammy Mifflin Howard); her aunt Carolyn Thoms; and her uncles, Andreas Thoms and Ralph Rabe.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karyn Canup, Chloe Canup, Lillian McCutcheon and Madeline McCutcheon; her mother Marie Thoms; her brother Fred Thoms; her boyfriend Joshua Riley; and her aunts and uncles, Linda Thoms, Art Rabe (Ruth), Albert Rabe (Tina) and Renda Rabe.
