She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Benjamin Wilson and Zelphia Wallace Wilson; her husband John Henry Sommer of Shoate, IL.; her half-brother Ellis Rixie of California; her brother Charlie Wilson of Unionville, IL; and her son-in-law Patrick Parker of Metropolis, IL..
She is survived by: her daughter Sue Parker of Metropolis, IL; her grandchildren, Melanie Parker Linder (Timothy Linder) of Orange Beach, AL, Mendi Parker Jones (Britt Jones) of Pueblo, CO and Matthew Parker (Jamie Henson Parker) of Metropolis, IL; her great grandchild Jordan Wilson (Lynn) of Reagan, TN; and her grandchildren, Hunter Johnson (Shelby) of Mount Pleasant, TN, Luke Higdon of Louisville, KY, Brittany Markus (Ben) of Metropolis, IL, Matthew Parker, Jr. of Metropolis, IL, Alyssa Parker of Metropolis, IL, Chris Neudecker (Rachael) of Spring Hill, TN, Kyle Jones of Pueblo, CO and Tori Jones of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by fourteen great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Metropolis Church of Christ, P.O. Box 28, Metropolis, Illinois 62960 in her memory.
