He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles McGruder and Dillie McGruder (Hooper). He is survived by: his children, Dewayne Johnson (Kathleen), Charles "Hucky" Johnson (Betty), Kathy Marie Thomas, Debbie Ann Haverkamp (Steve) and Gerri Parker (Lyman). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
