He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Charlie" Gurley and Eva Gurley (English); his siblings, Barbara Charlene Anderson, Angela Marie Harwood and Jackie Don Gurley; his nephew Little Charlie; and his great-nephews, Little Willie and Dustin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tracy France (Daniel), Kimberly Lorenzo, Lisa Glosson (Geion), Amber Odle (Tim), Keliann Hardy (Trey), Lucy Hall (Kelsey) and Becca Johnson (Zack); his grandchildren, Gavin Gurley, Ethan Wulff, Christian Wulff, Latrell Shannon, Martin Lorenzo, Adelaide Hosseini, Wyatt France and Ava Johnson; and his siblings, Eddie Gurley, Brenda Collier (Jerry) and Timmy Gurley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home (70 Jon St, Metropolis, IL 62960). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
