She was predeceased by: her husband Freddie Carnes; her son Fred Carnes Jr.; her siblings, Gerald Barger, Jean Jennings and Maxine Erb; and her son-in-law Byron Mathis.
She is survived by: her children, Jojo Mathis, Steve Barger (Angie), Greg Carnes, Chester Carnes (Patsy) and Martha (Tony); her siblings, Stanley Barger, Sharon James and Sonny Barger; her grandchildren, Christy Jo, Jeremy, Kurt, Megan (Chris), Georgia Lee, Wyatt, Ashley (Tony) and Cody; her great grandchildren, Dalton, Olivia, Danielle, Luke, Ally, Mariah, Jayde, Roxanne, Jesse, Hannah, Israel, Emmarie, Phoenix and Evinee; and also Billy Myers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
