Margie Bailey Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margie Bailey (Metropolis, Illinois), who passed away on January 11, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Libert F. May and Marietta Clark May (Shewmaker); her daughter Elizabeth Susan "Libby" Bailey; and her brother Garland Schewmaker. She is survived by: her sons, James Alan Bailey (Mindy) and Daniel Lee Bailey; her grandchildren, Daniel Bailey, Kinsey Bailey, Stephen McGill, Scott McGill (Sara) and Deanna McGill; her great grandchildren, Kegan McGill and Reece McGill; her siblings, Martha Schafer and Harold "Doc" May; and her sister-in-law June Sielbeck (Don). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given in Margie's name to Weaver Creek Baptist Church, 2997 North Ave, Metropolis, IL 62960.
