We bid farewell to Margaret Pogue of Metropolis, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 12, 2024 at the age of 91. Margaret touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Odis Kommer and Ruby Kommer (Laird); her siblings, Virgie, Frankie, Lindell and Donna Kay; her husband Thomas "Dan" Pogue; her son Kevin Hausman (Marilyn); her sons-in-law, B. J. Stokes and Stanley Friese; and her stepdaughter Leslie Pogue.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paulette Stokes, Karen Friese and Sara Kimmel (Mike); her grandchildren, Charles Allen, David, Bobby, Doris, Jennifer, Erica, Donna, Carroll, JoNell and Deric; her stepsons, Mark Pogue (Jan) and Scott Pogue (Tammy); her stepgranddaughters, Briana, Autumn, Danielle, Audrey, Elizabeth and Kristina; her sister-in-law Judy Kommer; her cousins, Freddie and Connie; and also, Danny and Debbie Hillebrand. She is also survived by great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
