With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Majorie Peitzmeier (Metropolis, Illinois), born in Macomb, Illinois, who passed away on December 22, 2019 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis Peitzmeier; her parents, Jesse Adolphus Hare (Dolph) and Mary Ruth Hare; her granddaughter Michaela Romano; and her siblings, Anna Icenogle, Lucy Lewis (Toots), John Hare, Jesse Hare (Jack), Mary Ruth Rexroat, Martha Yerkes, James Hare (Jim) and Lee Hare.
She is survived by: her daughters, Maria Montalvo (Greg Montalvo) of Macomb, IL, Susan Romano (Michael Romano) of Northwood, NH, Karen Peitzmeier of Ashland, Oregon, Julia Rader (Patrick Rader) of Woodbridge, VA and Angela Lamb (John Lamb) of Metropolis, IL. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 7 step-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
