With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Stevers of Metropolis, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Linda may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Clyde and Inez Pearl Searles; her husband Wayne E. Stevers; and her brothers, James Clyde Searles (Evelyn) and William Robert Searles.
She is survived by: her children, David Wayne Stevers of McKinney, TX and Katherine Ann "Kathy" Stevers of Nashville, IL; her grandchildren, Katherine Corlena "Kacie" Stevers of Nashville, IL, Haley Renee Stevers of Plano, TX and Michael Jacob Stevers of Blue Hill, NE; her great grandchildren, Kaylee Elizabeth Hodge and Jacksun Wayne Shubert of Nashville, IL.; and her sister-in-law Angelian Faye Stevers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, many cousins, and friends.
