He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Henry and Ruth Hinners Korte; his wife Marie I. E. Korte; his sister Doris Krueger (Gilbert); and his siblings-in-law, Aline Hunerkoch (Clifford), Blanche Bremer (Lindell), Dale Verbarg and Bill Henderson.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve (Norma) of Massac County and Larry (Diane) of Virginia; his grandchildren, Darryl (Sheila), Daniel (Tiffany) of Massac County and Debra Korte of Urbana, IL; his great grandchildren, Jakob of Massac County, Austin of Massac County, Logan of Massac County and Larkin Korte of Massac County; his brother Marvin Korte (Mary) of Massac County; and his sisters-in-law, Florence Henderson and Alberta Verbarg of Massac County. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
