She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Schoening and Mary Schoening (Menser); her husband Samuel Neil Smith; her daughter Teresa Renee Smith; and her sister Janice Howard (Schoening).
She is survived by: her daughter Kristi Duckworth (Brad); her grandchildren, Caleb Duckworth (Allie) and Bailey Duckworth; her sister Ann Reasons (Dan); her siblings-in-law, Kay and Preston Brewer; and her nieces and nephews, Kalisa Nyberg (Jason), Kyle Heine (Kelly), Kevin Brewer, Karen Thomas, Kim Howard, Tim Reasons, Michelle Reasons and Dana Culbertson.
