He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Dean and Irma Dean; his former wife Margaret Dean; his son Doug Dean; his grandson Nicholas; and his brothers, Joe and Ted Dean.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Dean; his children, Whitney Bell (Michael), Christy Young (David) and Phil Dean; his grandchildren, Teran, Jason, Alex, Dylan and Casey; his stepchildren, Jana and John Ramsey (Debbie); his stepgrandsons, Drew and Harrison; and his daughter-in-law Therese Dean. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
