He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Willis and Etta Willis (Cozart); and his siblings, Vera, Elsie, Ellen, Laura, James and Joseph.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Willis (Adair); his children, Melinda, Johnnie, Jay, Jamie and Jed; and his brothers, Charles Willis (Wanda) and William "Dinky" Willis. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
