He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Benard and Mary Walbright Benard; his wife Alice Schulte; and his siblings, James and Mary Lou Wilcox.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Becker (Randy) of Las Vegas, NV and Bonnie Grace (Rick) of Metropolis, IL; and his siblings, Glen and Sylvia Pace. He is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
