He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gibson and Estell Gibson (Jones); his former wife Cavida Gibson; and his grandparents, Knox and Mae Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Gibson; his stepdaughter Stacey Leek; and his stepgrandchildren, Braxton, Ady and Zoey. He is also survived by 1 sister; 2 brothers; and several nieces and nephews.
