He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis James Harris and Bertha Humes Harris. He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Harris Jr. (Vashi Davis Harris) and Cindy L. Harris Jim (Doug Thompson) of Metropolis; his significant other Deena Williams Harris; his granddaughters, Kristi N. Terry, Chelsea R Harris Phillips (Justin) and Sara Hartery; his great grandchildren, Harper Phillips, Hattie Phillips and Isabell Terry; his grandson Daniel Terry; his great grandchildren, Cass Hartery and Liam Terry; his sister Patricia Harris Lott; his sister-in-law Carol Parmer Harris (Susanne Sanders Harris); his nieces and nephews, Tammy Jacobs, Mike Jacobs, Debbie Harner, Kevin Cremeens and Jamie Weaver; his siblings, George Harris, Bruce Harris, Ellis Lee Harris, Virginia Sue Harris Weaver and Carol Rae Harris; his niece Susan K. Griggs; and his sisters-in-law, Darlene Williams, Mildred Williams and LaWanda Williams. He is also survived by his large Family and many Friends.
